Hi David! Ich bin ziemlich angetan von deinem Spiel. Sowohl die klassischen Sachen (da hab ich inzwischen alles, was man hier so bekommen kann) alsauch die beiden Crossover-Alben finde ich super. Trotzdem hier mal eine kritische Anmerkung: Ich war auf deinem Konzert in Wuppertal am 10. November und war leider ein bißchen enttäuscht. Nicht von dir oder deinem Spiel... Nur hätten wir alle eben von DIR gerne mehr gehört!!!. Aber dafür war Milana - besonders vor der Pause - schlicht zu laut. Hatte sie da nur einen schlechten Tag? Ich fand die Pianistin allerdings schon bei dem Virtuoso-Konzert im März in Köln nicht besonders einfühlsam - jemand anderes sagte dazu seelenloses Spiel. Technik super, Gefühl Fehlanzeige. Da kann ich mich anschließen. Ich hoffe für dich, dass es wirklich nur ein schlechter Tag war und das ansonsten (Berliner Konzert, Kritik ja echt super) besser läuft, denn sonst spielt sie dich nur mit Lautstärke an die Wand. Das wäre wirklich zu schade! Ich freue mich jedenfalls jetzt schon auf das Konzert Ende Dezember in der Kölner Philharmonie und darauf hoffentlich wieder mehr David Garrett zu hören. Ansonsten ein Riesenkompliment an dich für deine Arbeit! Du hast es ja wirklich geschafft, die klassischen Konzerte im Altersdurchschnitt merklich abzusenken. Das allein finde ich schon aller Ehren wert. Und abgesehen davon ist dein Spiel einfach wundervoll... Ich wünsche dir alles Liebe und Gute! Pass auf dich auf und mach auch mal ne Pause. Those of us with curiosity of such unusual story had now been introduced to such a person as you. Many of us still like classical music, and classical musical instruments such as the violin. And although I like like most music of all types, including ethnic styles from around the globe, it isn't often that we get to see the " younger" crowd picking us a classical instrument and excel in it the way you have. So it is a really a refreshing treat to know that you exist. I know you are in europe most all the time, and so it is your world. I think it would benefit people here to partake of your talent, but most of all YOU could benefit by experiencing life here in California to which you can add to YOUR life's journey and memory.
